British Standard Pipe Tapered (BSPT) male thread will mate with a BSPT (tapered) female or a non-swivel BSPP (parallel) female. Similar to NPTF, the seal is made on the threads, but is not interchangeable with NPTF. Thread dope or PTFE tape can be used to provide additional sealing support.
