Stem for SAE 100R1, 100R1AT, 100R2, 100R2AT, 100R3, 100R4 and 100R5 hoses. SAE J514 Joint Industry Council (JIC) threads are common in most fluid power systems. Both male and female components have 37° seats and parallel threads. The seal is made by establishing contact between the male flared and the female coned seat. This is considered a mechanical connection.
